2023 for all the right (and wrong reasons) may seem to be more of a calendar change then anything else! Having said that, 2023 will be yet another year scripted by the interplay of Saturn, Rahu and Mars!
The upcoming transit of Saturn in 2023 in Aquarius (Kumbha) , Jupiter’s transit into Aries (Mesha) and Rahu’s transit into Pisces (Meena), Mar’s transits through Leo (Simha) and Scorpio (Vrischika) will be timelines that will bring in some intense and rapid experiences for many. How large or small, positive or regressive these impacts will manifest to be- is a story of individual charts and the finer details thereof.
For India, 2023 will seem to be a shade better from an economic perspective but the government of the day will struggle to effectively communicate to masses on it’s schemes, policies and this may create instances of gatherings, protests or agitations from time to time through the year- one sector after the other. Primarily a lot of these instances will be reflective of the non-officer cadre of the various departments and the agitation will be linked to better service standards, conditions at work and pay fairness. During Mars’s transit in Leo and Scorpio sectors related to Medicine, Pharma and certain departments related to security (ancillary) may see stress on the aforementioned accounts.
The government of the day will eventually prevail and find a way out through prolonged consultation mechanisms. Job market will continue to be dampened and loss of jobs and finding meaningful work will continue to be a challenge through the year. Talent exodus of youngsters will gain speed. Politically, 2023 will set up the tone for 2024 and new surprising developments may begin to play out through the last quarter of 2023. Mars transit in Leo and Scorpio will bring in some challenge to government functionaries.
2023 is a year wherein travel is best avoided as much as possible and done with care if one needs to really travel. Last minute rush, trying to make up for lost time by driving fast, cutting corners are a strict no-no and consequences will be felt fast and hard! Especially for those who have Mars or Saturn dominating their charts o running through Dasha periods associated with Mars/Saturn/ Rahu in any combination of MD/AD/PAD (Mahadasha/Antardasha/Pratyantardasha)- period when Mars transits 7th and 10th from Saturn will be a good time to be extra careful.
Access to health, medication, avoidance of wrong diagnosis will be a key area unfolding in 2023. Many people may begin to find unraveling of underlying health issues through 2023- all of which could have got seeded in earlier on in late2021 or through 2022. The scare of the pandemic will not return with the intensity and speed like seen earlier- no new lockdowns may come in- but yes for those getting infected the toll on their health and well being of immediate family will seem to be quite something to deal with! Recovery although will be fast, the underlying unknown long term impact will continue to play on the minds of the one’s infected and the doctors as well.
Globally, 2023 will continue to drag on and the global economic impact will need calibration and some new international alignments will commence to shape up. India’s diplomatic efforts may see some headwinds when Mars transits Leo and Scorpio. This will be also an important period to enhance vigilance of security and safety in general.
Broadly speaking mantras/upasanas related to Maha Vishnu, Goddess Durga, Kalbhairava and Lord Ganesha will go a long way to mitigate the negative impact of Saturn, Rahu and Mars. Sure enough, a lot will also get modified and altered from one individual chart to another based on specific planetary and nakshatra placements.
Jupiter will continue to offer some vital guidance through it’s transit in Pisces, however once it moves into Aries, things and effects of Jupiter transit will begin to alter considerably.
The few days of each month when Moon makes a connection (Through transit) with Saturn/ Mars and Rahu will be something to watch out for- travelling and health related caution should be followed as much as one can during these periods.
To sum it up- another year, similar story to that of 2022- all will depend on how well one learns to say nothing and speak up at an apt time!
