Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu!

If there is something interesting about the trio mentioned in the title of the blog it is the extent and intensity to which they are able to bring around transformation in our lives! Transformation can be good if your Mind- read Moon is aligned and can be painful experience- read non-alignment to these three planets when the time comes!

The position of planets in D1 and D9 to a great extent indicate the ability to flex of an individual- basically the chart gives a good amount of indication of how an individual is likely to behave when the times are good and when he/she hits rock bottom! To this add the lens of prevailing transits of planets and the operating Mahadasha- Antardasha- Pratyantardasha period and more often than not you will be able to gauge what’s unfolding.

What makes the transits of Saturn, Jupiter and Rahu so different is the slow pace. While Saturn has the ability to calibrate things and events coming one’s way, it also does have the potency do exceptional well when the individual chart has some inherent strength by virtue of the planet’s placement- sign and house placement… In most of the cases however Saturn’s transit through the various houses of a chart is like a limit calibration and stripping off all that doesn’t serve one and ensuring that the baggage of attachments is limited and this one thing, is what instills anxiety about Saturn! To put it simply, If you are in a candy store and have Saturn around- Saturn will sure enough allow you to soak in the experience but will severely limit of what you can indulge in! Sure it is for the goodness of your soul, but at that moment in time, it seems so utterly unfair!

In the same candy store, if rahu were to step in alongside, trust me either by hook or crook, either by paying or shoplifting- Rahu will ensure you experience a high level of indulgence but not the experience of the store! What this will do is, sure enough satiate your immediate lower level craving to eat and taste- but will kind of mess up your thought process, approach and thinking towards the right and not-so-right way to get what you want and this is how Rahu sets you up for a not-so-pleasant meeting with Saturn, simply because you crossed a line of fair play!

Jupiter in the candy store will give you a guided tour, make you wiser about the candy making process, tell you about the effort, the value and the relevance of the place. Jupiter will allow you to indulge only if you have earned the right to indulge and will allow that only to the extent of being able to validate the learnings…beyond this overflowing space of knowledge and wisdom of the store and a great guided tour- which leaves you with a feeling that you have gained expertise (which can be at times be so right with a well placed Jupiter), but nothing that you can otherwise gain in the commercial sense!

Saturn, Rahu and Jupiter play a vital role in transforming our views, about ourselves and the world as we sense and perceive through their intense transit periods (based on where our natal moon is) and also through their Mahadasha- Antardasha periods. So what’s the best way to embrace this space?

Sure enough, not all charts will have all these planets well placed and even if they are well placed, not all will have the corresponding Mahadashas-Anatradasha’s, having said that, depending upon the placements of these planets in natal chart and assessing the ongoing transit from the first house in D1 (for impact on physical disposition) and from the moon (to gauge impact of ability to think- clarity-decisiveness), one can infer what’s unfolding and then prepare their responses in an adequate manner to mitigate the unhelpful developments and amplify the beneficial outcomes!

Mantras, Sadhanas to Lord Vishnu, Kalbhairava and Goddess Durga are very auspicious when it comes to seeking help from Saturn, Guru and Rahu. Nama-smarnam (the act of continuously chatting the Lord’s name on an ongoing basis is a very simple yet powerful process to invoke support and positive outcomes from the universal energies around us, all the time!)

The navgarhas are Vishnu Swaroopa- to be born as a human, on a particular birth star (nakshatra) within an arc of the Rashi (Zodiacal Sign) is not a random event- this is from where the story of your soul’s journey begins in this life as a human being! The more humble and accommodative one becomes to greatness of the universe, you will mind more abundance and greater clarity flowing in towards you- about you, your journey and what you should do and not!

I leave you with these thoughts for now in the safe company of your planets- May Lord Vishnu grace you always! “Om Namo Narayanaya”
