2024 will be primarily a story of intense periods of geo-political developments especially in the period when Mars transits the signs of Capricorn, Pisces and Aries. Furthermore post October end, as Mars begins it’s annual retrograde motion- again a marked time for rapid changes and challenges when it comes to broader societal fabric – governance and geo-politics.
Needless to say there will be instances of strife, discontent and incidents which may cause societal rift may surface. Accidents, freak weather incidents, increased geographical and geological activity leading to earthquakes and landslides may increase in the broader period during the first half of 2024. Climate change and sustainability will be again an important agenda on the world stage and the frequent natural calamities will only increase the concerns!
Some world leaders may experience challenges from unexpected quarters and at times may take decisions which may not be really helpful, but left with no option, some hard decisions, military actions and war like situations may emerge in active theatres around the world.
Some nations and societies may see a reinforced new narrative replacing an earlier one and nations may want to do a major U-turn from their long standing approach to select issues and this will increase complexities in the arena of global diplomacy.
Sure enough, based on individual nation charts, few may be able to use this ambiguous 2024 to promote their agendas and create power blocks in new and more complex ways. Irrespective of the chart, patience is the key and a lot of unnecessary banter can be avoided as long as people align to listening more and speaking less.
2024 in many ways will seem like a continuation of 2023 and will go on to plant the seeds of what is to come in the later half of this decade…
For individuals, based on their charts, the year will usher in promise and challenge in an apt measure based on the houses where the planetary transits are happening and the mahadasha and antardasha that they are experiencing.
A good idea will be to stick to routine and not plan anything too ambitious for 2024, at least not in the first half. Long term investments etc may be a good idea only once Jupiter comes in Taurus and as Saturn commences it’s focussed march towards Pisces where it eventually arrives in March 2025.
Safety while driving is always good, but marked caution is needed as Mars transits from Capricorn to Aries- so for about a good half year! Choice of public transport must also be made carefully. Breakdown, machine failures, industrial accidents due to lack of maintenance and negligence will also be visible in 2024. During Mars transit in Aires, there may be a marked increase in fire accidents and natural calamities especially related to landslides and earthquakes.
